In 1998, Congdon co-founded Beachbody, LLC, helping pioneer the modern home fitness and supplementation industry. He led key areas of the business including media buying, strategic analysis, marketing, operations, and international expansion—building a performance-driven marketing engine with over $100 million in annual spend and scaling the company to more than $1 billion in revenue.
A lifelong advocate for health and performance, and a former ranked beach volleyball player, Congdon is deeply committed to advancing human potential. He is actively involved in philanthropic and research initiatives, serving on the St. John’s Health Center Foundation Board of Trustees, supporting the Pacific Neuroscience Institute and the T.R.I.P.
