Dr. Sharon Hausman-Cohen has been in the field of integrative medicine for over 25 years. Her work sits at the intersection of clinical care, molecular science, and translational research, with a focused mission: to equip clinicians with practical genomic insights that improve patient outcomes. She has been a co-author on numerous papers and textbook chapters on the use of genomics for identifying contributing factors and improving patient health outcomes.
She co-founded Resilient Health Austin and IntellxxDNA®, a genomics decision support tool used nationwide, empowering clinicians to practice precision medicine. IntellxxDNA was developed to answer to an unmet need in the medical community: an accurate, evidence-based genomics tool to help clinicians practice true root cause medicine. Dr. Hausman-Cohen and her co-founder, Carol Bilich, developed IntellxxDNA as an answer to an unmet need in the medical community; the need for an accurate, evidence-based genomics tool geared at helping physicians practice true root cause medicine, whether the patient has mental health concerns, memory problems, autism or medical mysteries. Rather than offering raw genetic data, the platform translates complex SNP information into clinically relevant insights that help guide treatment strategies across a range of conditions.
Dr. Hausman-Cohen earned both her master’s degree and medical degree from Harvard Medical School. Her training, combined with decades of clinical experience, enables her to bridge rigorous scientific methodology with compassionate, individualized patient care. She is a sought-after speaker and educator, frequently presenting to clinicians on how to responsibly integrate genomics into everyday practice without oversimplifying the science or overextending the data.
