Serial Founder, Global Speaker & Gut/Vaginal Health Expert

Cheryl Sew Hoy is founder and CEO of Tiny Health, the leading precision microbiome company redefining proactive care through clinical-grade gut and vaginal microbiome testing. The Tiny Health platform powers personalized, functional microbiome insights – from Butyrate capacity, Urolithin A potential to GABA capacity – and supports +125,000 people and +4,000 providers, from the first 1,000 days to the last.

Through its Powered by Tiny model, Tiny Health integrates into health systems, precision medicine and longevity clinics, and wellness brands including Mayo’ Longevity & Exec Clinic, Superpower, Mito Health, and LifespanMD.

In Sept 2025, the company published a landmark randomized controlled trial on infants, showing an 83% reduced odds of eczema and atopic conditions after parents followed Tiny Health’s personalized microbiome interventions.

Launched in 2022 and born out of her desire to take control of her own daughter’s chronic condition, Cheryl developed and launched the first at-home gut microbiome test for moms and babies, using shotgun metagenomics – now expanded across the full lifespan, offering advanced testing for chronic conditions, performance, longevity, and overall health.

A Cornell engineering alum and repeat founder (exit to Walmart Labs), she was recognized as TIME’s “2017 Person of the Year.” Cheryl lives in Austin, TX with her husband and 3 kids.
